Our Values

Scripture & Spirit

We fully embrace both the Bible and the work of the Holy Spirit. The two were never meant to be separated. The Word of God is living and active (Hebrews 4:12), and is sufficient for instruction in all righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16). The Holy Spirit is called the “Spirit of Truth” who guides us into all truth (John 16:13). It is only when both are understood rightly that we are able to walk in the fullness of our calling.

Intimacy & Impact

God calls us to first intimately know Him (Mark 12:30) before we do anything for Him. As we learn how to abide in Him, we become activated to bear fruit in His Name (John 15:5). Our primary value is to know the Heart of God and to first be transformed by Him, so that, we can partner with Him to change the world. As followers of Christ, it is our responsibility and privilege to be apprenticed into the ministry of Jesus and to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:16-20).

Community & Connection

The Body of Christ was always meant to walk in unity (Ephesians 4:16). We must learn how to stop separating over the peripheral and start loving one another in the essentials. Though there are many expressions, the Bride of Christ is beautiful in its diversity in unity (Romans 12:5-6). As we learn how to walk together, the world will know that we are His disciples and will be our greatest witness in this age (John 17:23).

Statement of Faith

We believe in God, eternal, almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. We believe in Jesus Christ, the Lord of all, the Only Begotten Son, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried and on the third day rose from the dead. Jesus, our Lord and Savior, ascended into heaven, sits at the right hand of God the Father, and will come again to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
